Do we need to bring towels and washcloths?
Only if you really want to! Your Woodridge Lodge stay includes all linens for bedding & bath. If you have a favorite pillow, feel free to bring it along.
Are there places to eat nearby?
Yes – plenty. Pardeeville has some very popular Pub/Eateries and has terrific pizza for delivery. Portage has dozens of restaurants that cater to just about everyone’s favorite dining style. Both communities are 10 minutes or less away from Woodridge Lodge.
Can we get supplies late?
Sure can! If you should run out of ice or need to satisfy a midnight craving, Portage has a 24-hour Wal-Mart Supercenter and both Portage and Pardeeville have 24-hour Kwik-Trip convenience stores.
What about movies?
Woodridge Lodge has a flat screen TV with built-in DVD player for your enjoyment. DVDs are available for rent and both local video and convenience stores.
Are there local attractions?
You bet! While most folks tend to spend most of their time in the Woodridge Lodge Craft Room, occasionally folks like to venture out too! The local Amish Community features a general store, a bakery and several woodcraft markets. Devils Lake State Park, Circus World Museum and Wisconsin Dells attractions are 30 minutes away.
Are there outdoor activities?
Woodridge Lodge has an outdoor fire ring and all the firewood you’d care to use for evening camp fires. The Lodge is surrounded by acres and acres of private grounds that feature upland forests, wetlands and prairies teaming with Wisconsin wildlife. Bring your tennis shoes or hiking boots and enjoy!
